Store Review: 'Epiphany'

So, new store on Stardoll! First off, here's a picture...

And now, my opinion...
So, I can tell you now that I absolutely adore this new shop. I think that it's perfect timing for the Christmas season and some of the jewellery is stunning. The prices are high and it is SS only, but that's what happens on Stardoll at this time of the year. People are getting gift codes/cards from loved ones and therefore, more SS-only features need to be introduced.
The earrings in particular caught my attention. With the blue, pink and sea-green diamond tear drops being perfect for any Winter ball gown and the simple studs looking amazing with any outfit at all, I think we're finally onto a winner with this store.
The prices range from twelve to twenty stardollars and hopefully we'll have some new floors available soon - I recommend buying from this store as soon as you get round to it!

Top Tip: Simple 'Flawless' Make-Up

A lot of people on Stardoll have stunning, beautiful dolls because of their make-up and the way they choose their accessories and hair. Here an example of my doll, robynnrocks...

As you can see, false lashes play a big part in my doll's looks, as well as the inexpensive white eye liner. The white eye liner is generally what gives the doll it's serene look though. Line the inner corner with liquid, then draw under with pencil eye liner to create this look.
Usually, in the place of the yellow and pink eye liner, I would have black. But to match the Faith Hill dress I only recently acquired, I chose to swap that to those two colours in an attempt to tie the look together.

Top Tip: Starting a Brand Collection

So, a lot of people decide to start collecting brands after they've been SS for a while. I personally collect Hot Buys and the occasional LE/RARE if I see them for cheap. However, a lot of people don't know where to start collecting the older HB's that aren't in store anymore, same with any other rare brand.
The easiest thing to do is look on the broadcast list. Click the little speaker-phone symbol to get there. Here's how you do that:

Now, all you have to do is look along this list and find messages saying 'hotbuys', 'LE', 'DKNY', 'RAREs' or whatever it is you're looking for. A lot of the time, the so-called 'cheap sales' have HB's up for three hundred plus.
I'd say, set yourself a price limit on how much you're willing to pay. Do you really want to spend all your money on one shirt? I recommend from ten to thirty/fifty stardollars to start out, then when your collection gets bigger, think about spending more.
With LE, add say... fifty SD's onto the starting price, that's probably how much you should be willing to spend. Same with Antidote and RAREs.

Top Tip: Finding Your First Post In Clubs

So, a lot of my friends that hang out in clubs (OC, TC, FC, AD, APG) on Stardoll find that after a few months, they want to know what their first posts were. Of course, you could go back all the way through your posts, which would take hours for some people, or you could use this simple and easy technique.
It's quite simple really, just post/make a topic in whichever club you want to see your first post in, then click 'permalink all posts by (your username here)'. After that, a URL along the lines of stardoll.com/en/clubs/forum.php?id=881988&postUserId=50293829 should come up.
Here's where it gets a bit boring. Onto the end of the URL (the writing in the address bar) add '&page=' then a number. For me, in club Twilight, the post page count is four hundred and forty and ever-growing. So, the URL I showed you above becomes: stardoll.com/en/clubs/forum.php?id=881988&postUserId=50293829&page=440. This basically tells Stardoll to show me the post page number four three six.
The problem is, not everyone will have this many post pages. My Stardoll bestie Liv has over one thousand three hundred pages of posts. Other people have two hundred and twenty. The easiest thing to do is make a guess. If you've been in the club for two months (or less) and you've been very active, I recommend starting with two hundred then going up or down as necessary. If you've been there for six months, I'd start with three hundred. It all matters how active you've been etc..
I hope this helps and I guess, if you want, I'll show you my first post in TC...
